Saturn

This shot of Saturn was completely processed in IRIS 3.2.1. The AVI was imported and broken down into RGB fits files that I then selected the best examples using the BESTOF and SELECT commands for each channel. The best 300 of each channel were chosen and batch unsharp masked before being stacked individualy and finally combined using the TRICHRO command. The bigger image was produced by 2x spline resizing the raw stack result of each channel unsharp masking a bit more heavily and combining the three images with the TRICHRO command. A lot more work than AVI2BMP but the results are nice!
