 Horsehead Nebula in Orion (IC434)
My first (admittedly crappy!) attempt at the Horsehead nebula from my severely light polluted San Francisco location. This was mainly a test to see if imaging (or even setting up the G11 was possible) on the tiny little eastward facing balcony I have. Lesson learned here is that I 1) need to take longer integrations 2) need to take flats (doh!) and 3) I need to invest in an LPR filter!

Astro-Tech 65EDQ 65mm f/6.5 telescope, StarlightXpress MX-716, Losmandy G11. 96 x 60 second integrations for a total of about 1h30m.
